Clerk to the Constable and Trustees of the Town and Manor

Tara is the main contact regarding all enquiries, if she can’t answer it herself she will know who you should talk to. Tara has many years experience within the charity and is very knowledgeable about its activities.

Rob Knight-Starr

Head Water Keeper

Our Water Keeper, Rob Knight-Starr, is a highly experienced and knowledgeable member of our supporting staff, as well as being a qualified fly casting instructor, he is also a committee member of Action for the River Kennet.

Carl Smith

Water Keeper

Carl is a relatively new member of our team and is indispensable to the Fishery. He assists Rob in all tasks and activities.

Carl is well qualified in all aspects of land management and is an excellent addition to our team.

Steve Brunning

Honorary Fishery Secretary and Trustee,
Town and Manor

Steve is the Honorary Fishery Secretary, a Commoner and Trustee of the Town and Manor. Steve liaises with Rob and Carl, reporting to the Constable.
